I’m Damian. For the past six years, I’ve helped businesses turn ideas, stories, and business objectives into films that communicate something important more effectively.
I’m drawn to the details that cannot be manufactured: the way a founder talks when they forget about the camera, the concentration behind a craft, the shift in energy when an event comes alive. That is usually where the story is.
When you work with StoryThread, you work directly with me from the first conversation through strategy, production, and final delivery. For a larger project, I bring in a trusted Texas crew around the needs of the work, never more machinery than the production requires.
Where the approach began
A Documentary Filmmaking Approach to Brand Video.
One of the most meaningful films I have made came from three weeks traveling through Namibia with my father and close friends. The landscapes, people, and pace of the journey changed how I filmed.
I learned to prepare thoroughly, then stay present enough to notice what the plan could never predict. That balance of clear intention and open eyes is still the foundation of every StoryThread production.
